At least 10 Israelis held hostage in Mumbai.

Ten to 15 Israelis were among the 100-200 people being held hostage by terrorists in the Indian city of Mumbai on Thursday, according to Israel’s Foreign Ministry.

Ministry officials said that another 20-25 Israelis had failed to contact family members, but were not yet assumed to be captives.

Three of the Israelis were being held inside the local Chabad headquarters, including the rabbi who heads the mission. Indian commandoes surrounded the building on early Thursday afternoon, but put off launching an assault.

There were no reports of Israeli casualties in the coordinated mass terrorist attacks on popular Mumbai hotels, tourist sites and infrastructure that have left over 100 people dead and hundreds more wounded.
